I Think Therefore I Am

The philosophy behind this statement is, in so many words, I am certain that I exist because I can think. Well, that’s pretty much a no-brainer. I invite you to “think” a little deeper….

Medical science is proving that what we think changes what we experience. Even quantum physics is involved in this “mind over matter” theory. One of the main ideas behind quantum physics is that the thoughts of the observer have an effect on the outcome of the experiment.

What if we changed Mr. Rene’s statement to: we are what we think. Think about it….

It’s really all a matter of focus. If it’s mid afternoon and you think, “I’m tired,” you’ll be tired. If you have a big presentation to give and you think, “I’m nervous,” you’ll be nervous. But if you feel yourself getting all worked up about something, and instead of following that thought pattern, you think instead, “I’m at peace,” you’ll be at peace. What you give your attention to, you get more of.

I AM statements are declarations of truth. In stating these affirmations, your body responds accordingly, and your subconscious mind immediately goes out to find and bring you more examples and experiences of this “truth.”

Try it yourself. Next time you catch yourself saying or thinking, “I’m tired,” sstop and say “cancel.” Then turn it around to a positive affirmation like, “I am full of energy,” or “I am focused and full of the energy required to finish this project” – or you get the idea.

Remember, as you think, so you are. Or in other words, you are what you think. And the words you say – the declarations you make – have a way of coming true.
